At Watchmaster we are transforming the secondary market for pre-owned watches. We are looking to make fine watches into a tradable and more affordable asset by enabling consumers to sell and buy watches through our marketplace. We actively contribute to increasing the value of pre-owned watches through our in-house certification and refurbishment process, therewith making them a comparable and competing product to new, unworn watches at highly attractive prices. Our team has grown to 60+ passionate employees responsible for actively growing our business across Europe.

As Social Media Manager (m/f/d) in our online marketing department you are responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with Marketing and Sales departments and are responsible for developing Watchmaster into a recognized brand.

Your Tasks:

  • Develop, implement and manage social media campaigns and strategies for our Watchmaster channels
  • Manage and oversee social media content
  • Take over responsibility for your own projects
  • Research relevant content and ideas for campaigns, always focusing on the customer needs
  • Take care of content creation, postings and community management
  • Provide and edit images
  • Drive and report on our most important social media KPIs
  • Measure the success of every social media campaignm
  • Participate in the implementation, analysis and tracking of our online marketing efforts
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Cooperate and coordinate between departments on behalf of the marketing team

Your Profile:

  • 3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and other social media best practices
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Excellent understanding of social media KPIs
  • “Getting things done” attitude; high level of motivation and initiative
  • Native Italian and fluent in English any other languages are a plus
  • Creative, but structured and self-disciplined personality to work independently
  • A passion for watches is advantageous
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work in a teamTBD
  • Native German or English, at least fluent in English, any other languages are a plus
  • Feel comfortable with standing in front of a camera (e.g. doing interviews)
  • Be active on a social channel like an influencer
  • Advanced skills in photoshop and video editing are required
  • A passion for watches is advantageous
