International Sales Manager (f/m/tg) 

Job Description:

  • As an International Sales Manager you define and execute the commercial strategy for enhancing the regional market share and the positioning of the assigned product segments with main focus on the product categories: sensors and room controllers as well as projects.
  • You are responsible and manage the companies entitles and distribution partners (budget, margin, P&L).
  • Business development and identification of new opportunities and partners.
  • You strengthen the market awareness of the brand STEINEL.
  • Coordination & steering of our entities and distribution partners as well as customers. (Planners, Engineers, Retailers, etc.) in the local market. Development of long term relationships at all levels of the distribution chain (senior & operational levels).
  • You offer guidance, support and training of locals customers & partners. 
  • You anticipate customer needs and ensure "total customers satisfaction" by offering the highest sales,  product & service quality to partners (specialized trade) and distributors.  
  • Further responsibilities are: logistics, technical product coordination within the company. 
  • You closely cooperate with the german team and with customer service at headquarters. 

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor`s degree or equivalent. Minimum 3 years work experience in sales preferably in international markets (Asia, Afrika, South America, etc). 
  • Able to communicate and manage senior client stakeholders. 
  • Eagerness and experience in succesfully growing and partnering with clients. 
  • Proficient English & German language skills are essential. (Chinese or Spanish would be desirable.) 
  • Familiar with current ERP systems and good skills with MS Office. 
  • Customer profiling & sales planning. 
  • High customer and service orientation.
  • Demonstrate a multi-cultural open minded approach.
  • A team player and fast learner who is at ease with techonlogy.
