Logistics MDU/ODU Manager - Logistics Central Services (d/f/m) Ref. 10309083
job description:
- Responsible for design and provide the right amount of material delivery units (MDUs) and overseas delivery units (ODUs) to secure the material availability at station in Hamburg, Bremen, Mobile and Tianjin
- Enable the ramp-up by planning and sourcing needed MDU/ ODU capacities
- Act as focal point for MDU/ ODU relevant initiatives in strong coordination with operational logistics and project teams
- Develop and implement improvements and modifications of MDUs/ ODUs and ensure constant alignment with our stakeholders
- Act as a focal point for MDU repair management and monitor Logistic Service Provider (LSP) or Packaging Service Provider (PSP) maintenance
- Enable projects by developing and implementing new delivery and transport solutions
- Be the interface to General Procurement and actively support the Call-for-Tender process for the planning and sourcing of MDUs/ ODUs
personal requirements:
- Strong communication skills to work with contacts at all levels and to maintain business relationships.
- The ability to quickly recognize and analyze technical connections and functions.
- The ability to organize oneself and to design structured daily routines.
education / studies:
- Civil engineering at least a bachelor's degree or
- Engineering at least a bachelor's degree or
- Business administration at least a bachelor's degree
professional experience:
- Manufacturing / production at least 3 years
- Supplier management at least 3 years
- Project management at least 3 years
- Supply chain / logistics at least 3 years
IT:
- Google Workspace
