job description:
Evaluate the supplier portfolio to suggest the best ordering approach and parameters
- Manage ordering data, forecast needs, and initiate purchase orders (when required), based on the demand in the relevant MRP (material requirements planning) and communicate with supplier and internal customers
- Manage flows to ensure that outsourced and purchased products are delivered on time, quality, quantity and cost in accordance with expressed needs and aircraft programs
- Responsible for parasitic flow and missing parts management
- Handle the entire purchase order process, including sending, receiving acknowledgments, maintaining master data, and confirming order completion
- Material procurement for upgrades, repairs, and retrofits
- Ensure the data management accompanying the introduction of new products (process governing new components) and modifications
- Deal with confirmed demand and Non-conformities (NCs), with the ordering of new and replenish parts and manage administrative disputes
- Manage and solve invoices issues if needed
- Anticipate risks in case of any shortages. Identify and classify risks if needed
- Support in problem solving processes and introduce first corrective measures in collaboration with SCQM (Supply Chain Quality Manager) and Buyers
- Formalize demand, collaborate with suppliers (Pre-or after delivery, exception messages) to ensure consistency between parts delivery and production requirements and be involved regarding the supplier performance
- Escalation to SCQM (Supply Chain Quality Manager) when quality issues, recurrent delivery delays with suppliers and to Buyers when pricing issues
- Participate in process assessments and audits on demand

education / studies:
- Business Informatics at least Bachelor's degree or
- Business Administration at least Bachelor's degree or
- Supply Chain / Logistics at least Bachelor's degree
professional experience:
- Disposition / material procurement at least 2 years
- Purchasing at least 2 years
- Operational and strategic procurement at least 2 years
- Supply chain at least 2 years
- Airbus experience an advantage
IT:
- SAP at least in-depth application knowledge
- Google Workspace an advantage
language skills:
- German at least business fluent
- English at least business fluent
- French an advantage
