job description:
The jobholder (d/f/m) will work as Value Stream Recurring and Non-Recurring Costs Manager in the Single Aisle (SA) department with the scope of increasing productivity and efficiency to secure customer satisfaction with a focus on the Airbus Atlantic perimeter and interfaces, in strong collaboration with the VSM teams across Germany, France and UK.
- SA VSM focal point for management of Airbus Atlantic (AA)
- Selection, validation and arbitration of relevant and priority topics
- Ensuring stable link with AA and the right level of exchange, transparency and visibility in terms of cost performance
- Linking with other stakeholders and functions impacted by AA like Engineering, DDMS (Digital Design and Manufacturing Systems), SA Program
- Driving the quarterly reviews (and what is behind in terms of preparation, stakeholder engagement, pre-decisions, dry-runs)
- Management of Purchase Orders (set-up, decision making, arbitration, launch) based on governance
- Collaboration with other teams for all relevant topics impacting Airbus cost
- Updating light contract and Recurring Prices (when needed and based on governance)
- Ensuring lean and efficient management of relation with AA with continuous improvements
- Continuous support to projects (Recurring Costs reduction, Industrial Performance, Rate-Flow, Process Methods and Tools)
personal requirements:
- The ability to quickly identify and analyze relationships and functionalities
- Independent, structured, and results-oriented work to achieve goals on time and coordinate workflows efficiently
- Strong communication skills to work with contacts at all levels
- Willingness to travel 2-3 times per year (particularly to Toulouse, St. Nazaire, and Broughton/Filton)
education / studies:
- Industrial Engineering (at least a Bachelor's degree) or
- Business Administration (at least a Bachelor's degree) or
- Supply Chain/Logistics (at least a Bachelor's degree)
professional experience:
- Procurement (at least 4 years)
- Finance (at least 3 years)
- Supplier Management (at least 2 years)
- Contract Management (at least 3 years)
IT:
- SAP at least detailed specialist knowledge
knowledge:
- Lean Management (at least basic knowledge)
- Process Management (at least basic knowledge)
language skills:
- English (at least business fluent)
- French (at least business fluent)
- German and Spanish are an advantage
