job description:
The jobholder (d/f/m) will work as Strategic Pricing Manager in the Pricing Team within Airbus Product Management Division.
- Derive and Implement Pricing Strategies for Airbus Product lines to maximize profitability and market share
- Analyse relevant data, assess technical characteristics and group Material into Product Groups with proposed Pricing Strategy
- Identify and implement means to improve Strategic and Operational processes to boost efficiencyand accuracy in Airbus pricing departments
- Incorporate customer feedback and market demands into pricing strategies to improve competitiveness and customer satisfaction
- Analyse pricing risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure competitive price positioning and profitability
- Develop Key Performance Indicators related to sales pricing activities
- Analyze relevant data to identify market trends, measure pricing quality, propose adjustments, develop and maintain pricing tools
- Work together with sales, product management and other stakeholders to align on expectations
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve pricing processes, tools and existing analysis
personal requirements:
- The ability to quickly identify and analyze relationships and functionalities
- Independent, structured, and results-oriented work in order to achieve goals on time and coordinate workflows efficiently
- Strong communication skills to work with contacts at all levels
- Flexibility for occasional travel within Europe (once or twice per year)
education / studies:
- Aircraft Engineering (at least a Bachelor's degree) or
- Mechanical Engineering (at least a Bachelor's degree) or
- Business Information Systems (at least a Bachelor's degree) or
- Industrial Engineering (at least a Bachelor's degree)
professional experience:
- Finance (at least 1 year)
- Manufacturing Engineering (at least 2 years)
- Product Development (at least 2 years)
- Process Improvement (at least 2 years)
IT:
- Python: at least in-depth application knowledge
- SQL: at least in-depth application knowledge
- SAP: at least knowledge of detailed functions
- Google Workspace
knowledge:
- Change management (at least good knowledge)
- Project management (at least good knowledge)
- Data analysis skills required
language skills:
- German (at least business fluent)
- English (at least business fluent)
- French is an advantage
