Area Sales Manager

United Kingdom -  North/Scotland

The Role Includes

  • Maintaining existing business relationships and establishing new contacts via the company’s lead generation system and marketing activities as well as identifying and generating own new business opportunities within the Sales region.
  • Define and implement a strategy for area sales management, in agreement with the National Sales Manager and Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Working to achieve both area and company targets.
  • Submitting project and forecast predictions to time deadlines.
  • Effectively and stringently manage the quotation pipeline and report progress on a regular basis.
  • Present product training presentations to customers and specifiers.
  • Provide technical support to customers and make site visits when required.
  • Maintaining project and company databases.
  • Provide prompt and professional response to all leads for the region and work in partnership with the internal support team and external specification team ensuring that correct information is recorded and followed up.
  • Delivering reporting requirements within required time deadlines including robust opportunity development in CRM.

Your Profile 

  • Has a proven track record in a similar sales role and has demonstrated ability to generate new business.
  • Ability to work to company and area targets is essential.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
  • Ideally based in the GEZE UK North/Scottish sales region.
  • Ideally has a sound knowledge of the automatics door industry or associated products.
  • Ideally is an existing ADSA EN16005 card holder.
  • Experience of supporting growth in a dynamic environment.
  • Good working knowledge of technical products would be a major advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the construction industry ideally with a technical engineering bias.
  • Excellent sales negotiation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours when required.
