In-Service Technician (d/m/w) Ref. Sob_17-07-2025
Job description:
Production support & Maintennace services for automated drilling units.
- Actively supporting production and maintaining robots to meet production rate & deadlines.
- Identify and analyze root causes of technical issue.
- Liaison with customers and MTM team to resolve inquiries and provide reliable solutions.
- Programming and configuration of robots.
- Suggestion for continuous improvement (preventive & corrective actions).
- Reporting of technical status of robots & automation solutions.
- Reporting of activities & KPI to management.
- Technical liaison about assembly, commissioning, integration, installation & testing with maintenance/repair teams & customers from EU & USA.
Personal requirements:
- Excellent communication with multi disciplines team and customers.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Autonomous to organize daily tasks.
- Interest to teach technical info to production and maintenance operators.
- Works well in pressure situations, during tight deadlines, and in front of customers.
- Interest of customer interaction and satisfaction.
- Willingness to work on shift.
Qualification/Skills, knowledge & competences:
- (Industrial) Mechatronic, Electrical/(Aircraft) Electronic vocational training.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering/Aviation/Mechatronics and/or automation will be a plus.
- Team player, dynamic & rigorous.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Ability to write and update technical documentation for maintenance and operator.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues that may cross over into the electrical and hardware domain.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical control systems, networks & embedded systems.
- Solid understanding of network communications protocol theory.
- Good knowledge in automation, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial electricity (low voltage) is plus.
Professional experience:
- Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic/Industrial maintenance min. over 2 years
IT skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Self-motivated to use different type of software (Metrology, Camera, Motion controller, CAD etc..).
- Basic knowledge of computer tools (Windows 10, pack office...).
Language skills:
- German: Fluent (ideally but not mandatory)
- Englisch: Fluent (spoken & written)
- French: fluent (advantageous)
