Finance Manager (m/f/d)

Bucharest - Romania 

This is an opportunity to develop yourself in a multinational company as a Finance Manager with versatile responsibilities. You will be directly reporting to the Managing Director GEZE Romania and cooperating with the respective Head Offices in Germany with the following tasks:

The Role Includes

  • Responsible for financial management including administration and monitoring
  • Accounting for all monthly activities and annual closing as well as profitability analyses
  • Responsible for budget and rolling forecast processes in close collaboration with the Managing Director
  • Ensuring that all legal obligations are met by the company regarding taxation, compliance with import/export requirements, and all declarations
  • Managing Credit Control, Inventory Control, Fixed Assets Control as well as Cash Management and Tax Management
  • Analyzing conclusions out of reporting for cost control and sales management to evaluate possible actions/measures
  • Reviewing results with Executive Board and management
  • Managing external contacts like tax authorities, banks, auditors, lawyers, suppliers, advisors, etc.
  • This is a multi-purpose role and besides Finance Management you are responsible for some further facets of the GEZE Romania organization, including fleet and facility management, Health & Safety as well as all HR and IT-related tasks

Your Profile 

  • Master's degree in finance or accounting ideally with CECCAR accreditation
  • Proven experience in general accounting of a minimum 10 years and a minimum 6 years of professional experience in a similar position within a multinational environment
  • Fluency in Romanian & English languages, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, accounting, and finance principles and practices
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office), excellent skills in Excel
  • Very good knowledge of ERP accounting packages – familiarity with SAP will be a strong asset
  • High professional ethics and logical and analytical thinking
  • A proactive and independent posture as well as business acumen
  • Able to cope with stress and multitasking skills
  • Hands-on mentality, target-oriented
