job description:
The jobholder (d/f/m) will work as Customs support in Hamburg close to the commercial airport, Fuhlsbüttel.
- Support in the monitoring of the customs broker in relation with German customs colleagues
- Assistance in the management of national and international customs regulations and translations of the impacts to the customs broker
- Participation in the preparation of monthly customs statements
- Analysis before responding to inquiries from the main customs offices regarding the monthly financial statement
- Support for the verification and preparation of Intrastat declarations
personal requirements:
- The ability to quickly recognize and analyze technical relationships and functions.
- Independent, structured and results-oriented work in order to achieve goals on time and coordinate work processes efficiently.
- Strong communication skills in order to work with contacts at all levels.
education / studies:
- Business Administration at least Bachelor's degree or
- International Management at least Bachelor's degree or
- Supply Chain / Logistics at least Bachelor's degree
professional experience:
- Logistics at least 2 years
- Quality management at least 2 years
- Supply chain / logistics at least 2 years
- Customs experience - at least 2 years
IT:
- SAP at least in-depth application knowledge
- Google Workspace
language skills:
- German at least business fluent
- English at least business fluent
