For the expansion of our Sales Team in the Vigo area, Spain, we are looking for a

Sales Engineer (male/female)

  YOUR TASKS:
  • Actively identifying, developing and expanding the sales of IPG fiber lasers to OEM’s, Integrators, end-users of lasers and national research labs in the North West area of Spain and Portugal
  • Developing new markets and applications to generate new leads and maintain regular contact with existing customers
  • Creating and delivering presentations with the support of the technical support team at public seminars, customer-sites and professional conferences
  • Working closely with the technical team at both pre and post sales stages to provide technical support to potential customers
  • Achieving personal sales targets
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, physical science or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience
  • Positive and professional communicator
  • Understanding of the challenges and technical issues clients face in the engineering sectors, especially with regard to welding solutions
  • Willing to travel, fluent both in spoken and written Spanish, Portugese and English
  • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple demands from a high volume of prospects as well as the ability to work in a team
