Job overview
Perform administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the Procurement Section timely, efficiently, and accurately, thereby contributing to a successful team performance and the achievement of objectives.
Main tasks:
- Prepare procurement documents (e.g. purchase orders and specific contracts) based on existing templates and information received from operational departments
- Prepare for and support in evaluation sessions (e.g. tailoring of model grids)
- Communicate with other colleagues within the Procurement team and across the Agency to complete the information needed or clarify questions
- Support in other procurement related matters
Main competences needed:
- Good English and communication skills
- MS Office package, ideally also SAP (FM/MM) and Sharepoint
- Analytical and critical thinking (to spot e.g. inconsistencies or non-compliance)
- Process items quickly and with attention to detail and compliance
- Motivation to learn and work in a team
