job description:
- Conduct main Safety assessments (Functional Hazard Assessment/System Safety Assessment) activities for military aircraft and systems, supporting the phases until certification
- Conduct Risk Analyses, according to the applicable guidance and standards, which are required to support the continuous aircraft development (including Permit to Fly/Type Certificate)
- Conduct Common-Cause Analyses (Particular Risk Analysis, Zonal Safety Analysis and Common Mode Analysis)
- Manage and generate safety requirements, safety evidences (tests, simulation, analyses), Safety Procedures and Limitations, interface with other technical domains (processes, maintenance, human factors, aircraft performance and quality, etc.) Strong influence on aircraft/systems architecture development according to the required Safety/Integrity
- Act as interface at the required level with internal and external stake holders (Chief Engineering, Project Management, Design Teams, Airworthiness Authorities, Industrial Partners, Customers, Suppliers)
- Review, approval and application of supplier data regarding Safety and Reliability
personal requirements:
- Good communication skills and strong problem solving capability are desirable
- Meticulous and safety oriented way of working
education / studies:
- Physics at least Master's / Diploma degree or
- Aerospace at least Master's / Diploma degree or
- similar discipline
professional experience:
- Engineering at least 3 years
- Aerospace at least 3 years
- System Safety Assessment
- or at least System Engineering with interface to Safety Assessment/Airworthiness/Certification at least 2 years are required
IT:
- MS-Office mind. detaill. Spezialkenntnisse
- Experience with Safety Tools, eg. Isograph FaultTree+ would be a plus
language skills:
- English at least business fluent
- German knowledge is desired
